We have been busy here at BRNGB over the last few weeks! We hope you have been enjoying the weather, it's been a bit hot for some of our hounds!
Here's a little round up of what's been happening, and things coming up in the next few months.
A whole blog dedicated to our recent rehomes! We have been busy these last few months with our rehoming, and we are so pleased to be able to show that so many of our bassets have found their own sofas, and are settling in with their new families.
Here are the latest batch of lucky hounds!
Thank you for your interest!
We have no hounds ready for adoption at the moment, however we do have many going through our foster system, so please keep your eyes open for when they are ready to be blogged!
We've had a very busy week, and with lots more planned for the summer months ahead!
National Pet Show - London
After one of the saddest and most stressful weeks in the Basset Rescue Network world, we would like to thank you all for your messages of love and support that you have sent us regarding our lovely Bertie. We can't tell you how much it meant to us to read your kind words of support. We really appreciate it very much.
We hope you are enjoying the lighter evenings, we actually got a walk on the moor after tea last week here in Berkshire, which was a welcome relief from those dark evening sprints around the local park! The Basset walking groups are enjoying lots of waddles at the moment, have a look on our facebook page Basset Walks UK for further details for walks near you, and if there isn't one, then arrange one! We can assure you people will come!
Recent rehomes
It's been so long since I have written a news blog I hardly know where to start! Thank you to all of our wonderful supporters who have kept us sane (not that we were very sane to begin with!) throughout this really busy time. We have been non stop for what seems like months now, so thank you for your patience in waiting for email replies, phone calls and other general bits and bobs which we may have missed.
Let's start with our recent rehomes...
Here at Basset Rescue Network we have a little motto, 'No dog gets left behind' and Roxy is living proof of what that really means to us.
This year saw us in Northampton, and it was most definitely our busiest yet. We had well over 80 dogs! They were incredibly well behaved...surprisingly! The hall was perfect, with a large, enclosed outdoor space, and thankfully the sun shone down upon us!
