We are now a Registered Charity!

Sing it from the rooftops!

Today, we have received the most amazing news!

We are so pleased to be able to announce that we have become a Registered Charity! We received an email this morning from the Charity Commission which states,

"We are satisfied that BASSET RESCUE NETWORK GB is a charity and has been entered onto the Register of Charities with the Registered Charity Number 1166291"

We are thrilled that we have become a Registered Charity, it has been our goal over the last year,  we know that many of you will know our struggles to achieve this, mainly due to not being able to keep enough money in the bank, as some of our dogs have been in poor health and needed veterinary care. We have then had to do lots and lots of paperwork, which kept being sent back to be amended and clarified, but today, all of that hard work has been worth it!

To all of our supporters who have always believed in us and who support our work passionately, we thank you from the bottom of our heart for coming on our journey with us. We would not be in this position today without you. We must pay specific thanks to Colette Colman, who spent hours on the phone to Sam Savage, talking her through some of the finer points of becoming a charity, and giving knowledgeable advice. Thank you, Colette. Also, a big thank you must also go to Jeff Slough, who has given us so much advice since we started up.

Today marks a new path for us here at BRNGB, and one which we are ready to take. However, our mission statement remains the same, we rescue and rehome bassets who are in need, and we provide support to basset hound owners, and this will never change.

One of our adopters stated this week, that it's a "happy place to be, under the umbrella of kindness and love that is BRNGB" which for us, sums up what we have always aimed to achieve.

So, please join us on our new path, celebrate our highs and commiserate our lows with us, you are part of us and that's the way it will always be.

Sam Morgan, Sam Savage, Louise Nicholls, Gillian Kent and Gareth Williams.
