Are you coming to Slobberfest this weekend? A whole weekend of bassets on a campsite! And if camping isn't your thing, you dont have to camp, you can purchase a day ticket!
Demi and her small team have been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to make this a fabulous event that you'll not want to miss!
"Join us for a weekend of camping, music, games, drinks and of course bassets!
We have a fun packed line up of games for the hounds, quizzes for the humans, live music, dog shows, waddle, licensed bar (with every penny of profit going to the bassets - if that's not an excuse for a couple of drinks we don't know what is!).
The site is open 9.30am onwards on Saturday morning to set up camp, please note there is no water or electrical hook ups but toilets are available. There is a strictly no fires or open BBQ rule, as our good friend and fosterer Karen has opened up her fields and we want to keep them in the best condition we can!
From 12 noon onwards, the main field will be open. There we will we have the bar, BRNGB tuck shop, stalls, hotdog bobbing, music, a Mexican food truck, face painter, raffle, cake stall and a dog treat stall to keep the hounds happy!
There will be plenty to do throughout the weekend, although I'm sure the hounds will keep us entertained on their own! Essential items to bring for the weekend are a torch and fold up chairs.
If you would like to come along please contact us here, or message our Facebook page, where the event is listed.
We would love to see you there!"
Slobberfest is taking place in Wem, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
To camp, the ticket price is £20 per tent pitch, £30 per large pitch (camper van, 2 tents in the same family, or SMALL caravan or trailer tent) This includes access to both days, no electric hook ups or showers but there are toilet facilities.
You can arrive at 9:30 am Saturday morning departing at 4pm on the Sunday afternoon.
Day tickets covering both days are £10 per family.
We hope you'll help to make this event a fantastic opportunity to meet friends both old and new, have some great fun with your hounds and support us in the process!
