Paula's Fundraiser for Daisy

You know we always go on about how fantastic we think our supporters are, and how we would be nothing without them?

Well, one of our supporters, Paula Richer, has gone the extra mile.

She's opening her home and garden to us on Sunday, May 10th for a wonderful garden party! She lives in the stunning area of Nuffield, Oxfordshire, just outside the beautiful Henley-on-Thames.

Paula saw our blog for help with our beautiful Daisy, and wanted to help. She first mooted the idea on Facebook, where everyone pounced on her!

Not deterred in the slightest, I've visited her, and the AMAZING Hector today to plan some details with her. It's going to be a fun filled day!

Here is the itinery so far....(subject to change)

12 noon - Meet at Paula's house for a walk in local woodlands, organised by her daughter, Phoebe. (£1 donation per hound)

1:30 - back at Paula's for some fundrasing fun, there will be a stall with items for sale and we will also have a raffle. If you would like to bake for a cake stall, then please do! Any other ideas you may have, please email or get in touch.

Paula has a lovely big garden, ideal for the hounds to run about in! Please bring a deckchair or a picnic rug.

Paula is generously providing afternoon tea for us all.

This is going to be a really wonderful event in a stunning part of the English countryside.

We have a facebook event on our page where you can join here :

You can email me at for more information.

Paula's address and directions will be sent to you via email/text message/facebook messenger when you have confirmed that you'll be coming, Paula will need to know rough idea of numbers for the catering.

It would be so lovely to see as many of you as possible at this event!

I simply can't finish without saying a massive Thank You to Paula, her husband Mike, and daughter Phoebe for hosting this event in aid of our funds and Daisy.
