Enterprise Rent-a-Car donation

Thanks to the Enerprise Holdings Foundation for donating £1000 to Basset Rescue Network, it's support will help fund much needed veterinary care for our hounds in foster.

We were thrilled to recieve this, our foster carer Gavin, (currently fostering our lovely Ludo) presented the cheque to our Chair, Sam Morgan last week. We really could not be more grateful, at a time when we are almost full to bursting, with many hounds having severe veterinary needs. Their generosity is deeply appreciated, and our thanks go to Gavin, who enabled us to receive it.

Rolph and Clara's Fundraiser

A massive thank you to our very good friend and supporter Sally King, and her lovely hounds Rolph and Clara, for yet another successful fundraiser! We'll have a total for you very soon, as they are still busy counting the pennies, but until then, thanks to you all who supported us and Sally to make it such a success!

Recent Rehomes

Here's our latest gang of happy hounds who have made it to their new forever homes!

Otis was adopted by Jason, Amanda and family, who just fell in love with that gorgeous face, and who can blame them!

Lily has been adopted by Caroline and family, and is being spoilt rotten in her new home!

Benny certainly fell on his feet when he was fostered by our very own Sam and family, he wasn't going anywhere!

Gorgeous George stole the heart of new mum Becky when she transported him to his foster home, who could refuse that handsome face?

Stunning Rupert was adopted by Adele and family, and is settling in well.

Handsome Henry found his own place to thrive with Chantel and her family.

As always, we celebrate the rehoming of these hounds by saying a big thank you to all our foster carers, transporters and home checkers who make all this happen!

As you have seen in our past blogs, we are currently supporting Archie, Ludo, Fudge and Tilly with complex veterinary needs. However ALL our hounds undergo a thorough vet check in the first week or so, and routine care such as vaccinating and neutering is administered as soon as possible.

Incoming this weekend are Burty, Stanley, Bruno and Bella, with another 6 hounds in the pipeline to arrange for the coming week.

We hope this goes to show how much you, our friends and supporters are needed and valued, as we simply couldn't do the work we do without your help.

This is why every donation, every raffle ticket and bonus ball bought is so vital, so a massive 'Thank You' to you all for your continued support.
