Look at this gorgeous face!
Phoebe is a 7 year old red and white basset hound. She has no health issues that we are aware of and seems to be in rude health and great condition.
She's got a lovely personality, and is a very loving dog. She will thrive in a home with lots of love and attention. She gets on well with other dogs, and will need to be rehomed with a family who already have a dog. She doesn't like being on her own, she thrives in the company of other dogs. She chases cats, and has been rather fond of rabbits too... for this reason we will not be rehoming to a family with cats or small animals.
She can be stubborn, and has a bit of posession aggression, but nothing that an existing basset owner will not have encountered! She has been grumbly around children, so Phoebe will only be rehomed to families with children over the age of 11.
Phoebe has lots of energy, she loves a walk and needs regular exercise. She walks well on a lead. She has started clicker training in her previous home and really loved it. Her recall isn't the best, so she'll need some work with that. She's fully housetrained.
She absolutely loves a cuddle, and especially a belly rub!
Phoebe is with her foster family in Hampshire and her foster mum says that she will make a wonderful addition to an active family.
