Welcome to our Autumn blog!
I am sorry it's taken me so long to get this written and published, I always forget how busy a month September is, and I end up running out of time! We have been very busy (nothing new there!) So I am going to dive right in and give you an update of all our latest rehomes. You may want to grab a cuppa before you start.....
Bowser and his friend Missy (see below) came into us together, and they were adopted out as a pair, but this sadly didn't work out as it should have, and Bowser came back to us. Never fear though, he was adopted by Lynne, his wonderful foster mum, and is really happy in his forever home!
Missy was abopted by the lovely Wendy in West Sussex and is thoroughly enjoying herself with her new family.
Now, here's a tale, little Ozzie, the dachshund/basset cross (who really only has a basset-ish leg) was transprted to "foster" in Edinburgh with the Gilchrists. We all laughed at the word "foster" because we knew all along that this beauty was not going to go anywhere else! She's all settled with the G crew, and we couldn't be happier for them all!
The very beautiful Hector was adopted to Theresa in Yorkshire and is settling beautifully in his new home.
Amazing Alfie is loving life on the South Coast with his new family and basset brother.
Beautiful Biscuit was neutered and has been adopted by her foster parents in Somerset.
Lace-eared Betty is living in a wonderful home in West Wales with our good friend John and his family.
Twitter followers may have heard of our good friend Ruby, who sadly went to the bridge, but now Jez and Helen have adopted the lovely Louie and their home is complete once more!
Rafferty has become Paddy, and he is being spoiled to high heaven in Shropshire by new mum Fay and her family.
Settling in with his new family in Nottingham, Snoopy is doing very well indeed!
Those are all our most recent rehomes, we have a few plannned for this coming week also, so watch this space!
Our beautiful old boy, Otto (formerly Ianto) passed over to Rainbow Bridge at the end of September. We knew it was coming, and he had been lovingly looked after by our fantastic fosterer Susan. It takes a very special person to be an end of life foster carer, and Susan was amazing. Otto knew love and kindness to the very end.
Run free, Otto, out of pain and at peace.

Nelson in Need
So, we've been busy, and we have a few busy months to come! As ever, thank you so much for your support, we really couldn't do without you. You may have seen our post this week on social media regarding our bills, this week alone we have paid out just under £2,000 in veterinary bills between 5 dogs. We won't see a dog go without basic vet care, and so if you were wondering where your donation goes, there is your answer. Massive thanks to our Foster team, what an amazing bunch of people we have here at BRNGB. The dogs are so very fortunate.
Happy Autumn everyone, keep waddling and slobbering!
