Everyone who meets Bertie instantly falls in love with him, and that is no lie! He's about 6 years old. Poor Bertie had to be rehomed due to a medical issue in his human family, which meant they could no longer give him the time and attention he deserved. It was a heartbreaking decision for all involved, as he had only been rescued by them for 6 months. However, he went to stay with Lisa and Paul in Crawley for a while, where he got on famously with their two bassets and their children. He went through a tough time after he was neutered, as he had a rather nasty infection, but cleared up with antibiotics.
Bertie has found his forever family, in Dorking. He now lives an idyllic lifestyle in the gorgeous countryside with a fishing lake out the front of his house! He lives with two other bassets, and a rather fantastic bloodhound!
We are thrilled that this special dog has found a soecial home.
