Oh my! We have some wonderful people fundraising for us, but sometimes, someone goes the extra mile!
Clare and Paul Hodgson are amazing supporters of BRNGB. Not only are they part of our wonderful foster team, Clare arranges 'Pound a Hound' waddles on the Wirral for us, through her Wirral Waddlers group, plus many other events, including a very successful waddle and barbecue at the Basset Hound pub in the summer. They live with their two children, and their basset Holly and whippet Ozzy.

Now, they have taken their support to a new level!
Clare and Paul have signed up to do 'Chain Runner', a sponsored event in Wirral Country Park on March 19th 2016. They will do a 10k race, chained to each other, and face some truly terrifying obstacles, including a crawl through an elecrtified tunnel!
Clare won't mind me telling you that she's not the fittest girl in the world, and that's what makes this even more special. Clare wants to get fit, and set herself some goals, and by doing this event she has set herself a target to aim for.
We are humbled that they have chosen us at BRNGB to be the benefactors of their challenge, and we are giving them all of our support.
This is what Clre has to say;
"I am raising money for a cause very dear to me, Basset Rescue Network of Great Britain. Everyone of these guys are volunteers and run solely on donations. I will be completing a 10km obstacle course whilst chained to my husband!
Let's raise some money for this great cause!"
You can support Clare and Paul by sponsoring them for this event via their 'GoFundMe' page. Every penny will not only spur them on, but will help basset hounds in need.
We think they are really special people. Please support them if you can.

Also, Clare, with our friends Lee, Leeanne and Paul run a fundrasing group on facebook. They work really hard to get people to donate items that others can bid on, to raise funds. Please take a look at the group, and share it if you can. We know how hard it is sometimes to be a fundraiser, and they deserve a special mention too. Just click on the link below.
