"Please say hello to the lovely, squidgy Daisy.

Daisy loves people and other dogs and will happily sit on your lap, snoozing away.

Daisy is an active girl and will need a calm home with time to settle preferably with a dog that like to play as she loves to play with others and her toys.

Daisy is fed on grain free kibble twice a day with no food aggression noted.

Daisy is not cat or small furries friendly, she will chase!

Daisy at first will need time to settle as at first may be anxious and may even follow you around until she feels secure in the home.

Daisy can be left for a few hours in the day as she settles in her crate and sleeps. Daisy currently at night snuggles on her human's bed, where she loves a cuddle and good night kiss! Who can resist waking up to snuggling hound?

Daisy really is a fabulous, sweet natured, gentle loving hound, who just needs her forever home."

If you tick all the boxes above, and you feel you and your family are suitable to adopt Daisy, please fill in our online Adoption Application:

The Basset Rescue Network of Great Britain FAQ's

Here we will attempt to answer some of the more frequently asked questions about The Basset Rescue Network of Great Britain and adopting a Basset Hound.

Taking on a rescue dog is not the easy option. You need to be prepared to help a confused and troubled hound find their place in your family. They have been through a massive upheaval and will need time to settle into a new way of life, so please consider this BEFORE you fill in an application.

Daisy is subject to an adoption fee and a successful home check. If your home check is successful Daisy will be brought to your home for a meet and greet in your garden by their foster family. Your whole family, including resident dogs will need to be present for this meeting.

Coronavirus – you need to live within an hour drive to be eligible to apply.

Please ensure you can do this before applying.

You will also have a telephone call with a member of the team, plus Daisy's foster family, so that all of her history can be shared with you in person, and that we can be assured that you can fill all of her needs and requirements.

Daisy comes with 5 weeks free insurance via our rehoming partner, Agria.

Thank you for reading Daisy's blog. Please share where you are able.
